Wesley Miller: "I am a native of Iowa, moving here in 1975. I have been doing hair for more than 32 years. My goal is to work with you to enhance your personal features and what best fits your lifestyle. I specialize in men’s haircuts, color and perms. At A New Technique, we try to achieve perfection and will not settle for less. When I ‘m not here at the salon, I am often donating my time to the community in clubs like Kiwanis, in which I have been a member for 28 years. I also enjoy playing softball, golf and spending time with my grandchildren."

John Miller: I began in 1975, working Saturdays as the cleaning person at A New Technique. I completed Redken Academy in San Fernando Valley and started behind the chair at A.N.T. in 1986. You could say I learned the beauty business from the bottom up. Today, I oversee the salon’s day-to-day activities. My family and I have dedicated our lives to the beauty industry and the belief that consumers like you deserve the very best slon experience and the highest-uality service. That is why I have worked very hard to hone my skills in all aspect of this field. I am a working owner and what that means is that I am on site to oversee the quality of work being performed in the salon. I have participated in every Redken International Symposium in Las Vegas and New York since 1984. I am certified at the prestigious Redken Exchange in New York for “Design Behind the Chair” as a “Hair Color Specialist” and in “Principal Based Hair Cutting.” Certification and education is an ongoing affair that I readily welcome. Christa Janni: Christa is a longtime Simi Valley resident and has been employed by A New Technique for more than 25 years. Christa specializes in client communication and providing quality personal service that A.N.T. clients have come to expect. She has been receiving personal training from top designers and educators in our industry throughout her career.

JoAnn: JoAnn started her career her at A New Technique almost 25 years ago. She truly loves her choice, both in her profession and the salon that’s been her home away from home most of her life. She specializes in color, anything from blond to bold reds or rich and shiny browns, and working with long hair is also one of the things she enjoys the most (even hair extensions). "I also work with a lot of hair with texture, teaching you how to have the best curls or maybe how to eliminate them safely. I want everyone I touch to feel like they have the best hair every day. I start every appointment with a consultation to make sure we are seeing the same vision and to evaluate your needs each visit. My talent and skills have been well trained to enhance your appearance, your self-esteem and your overall well-being.  I think I can make every woman’s morning routine a bit easier; I try to teach every one of my clients how to have an out-the-door look in under 10 minutes. Heidi Leftkovich: Heidi received her license in 1993 and began working at A New Technique shortly after that. “Having a client leave my chair with a smile on their face and a bounce in their step is so rewarding. I specialize in color, dimensional color and foil placement. When I’m not here at the salon, I am probably shuttling my three children to their various activities.”

Charlie Pelletier: Charlie has been working at A New Technique for 10 years. She specializes in color, color correction, foils placement and hair texturizing.Charlie enjoys continuing her education to bring you the latest trends.

Courtney has been a Hair Color Designer for A New Technique for nine years. She has been to the Redken Exchange in New York for training several times. She loves doing highlights, color, specialty color and hair design and men's hair, as well.

Terri is an educated and positive stylist who loves her career! Terri's talent list includes all color processes, hair extensions, Keratin straightening treatment, custom haircuts and permanent waves. She has worked at A New Technique for more than 17 years and really enjoys her clients. She is a perfectionist with her work and treats her clients with compassion and professionalism. She is available in the salon on Tuesday and Wednesday and does her best to accommodate clients with busy work schedules.

Charisa Gamboa is our youngest stylist and she is committed to excellence in hair coloring and hair design. She always starts with an in-depth consultation that will determine your professional and personal style, so she can help you recreate your new look at home with confidence. She is very current with all the latest styles and fashions, so if you want that hot new style, she can make it happen.
